What’s the format of the seminars?
Seminars consist of a 60-minute presentation, during which Carmen takes a few quick comments or questions, followed by 30 minutes of facilitated discussion. Keynote addresses are 45 minutes long.
How much is Carmen’s speaking fee?
Carmen’s speaking fee varies depending on exactly what type of program you are looking for. Click here to request more information. We’ll call you to schedule a get-acquainted call during which we can learn more about your needs and design a program that will help your organization achieve its goals.
Does the speaking fee include travel and accommodation expenses?
No, travel and accommodations are separate from the speaking fee. We offer clients two options:
1. Client reserves and pays for travel and accommodations, and reimburses Carmen for ground transportation and meals after receiving receipts.
or
2. Client pays a inclusive flat travel and accommodations fee, and New Demographic takes care of all the arrangements.
What does New Demographic need from me to secure the date?
We cannot hold the date until we receive all the following:
- Signed and dated letter of agreement.
- A non-refundable deposit of at least 50% of the speaking fee.
- An inclusive travel and accommodations fee (amount will be negotiated, includes airfare, hotel, ground transportation and meals) or your guarantee that you will reserve and pay for airfare and hotel, and reimburse New Demographic for ground transportation and meals after you are presented with receipts.
I have a tight budget. Is there anything you can do to help?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount off the speaking fee if the fee is paid in full before the engagement date.
What A/V requirements does Carmen have?
Carmen requires that the room be equipped with an LCD projector, screen, PC (with sound) that will allow her to use a PowerPoint presentation with embedded video clips.
